Children of ALG-II recipients are to have class outings fully covered. That was the decision of the Federal Social Court on Thursday, 13.11.2008. The ARGE and the municipal work communes have to assume the costs for trips lasting more than one day in full. www.kostenlose-urteile.de

Child Day Care Trips are not subsidized, says Berlin Social Court ruling

Unlike School trips of more than one day, child day care trips are not to be subsidized in line with the educational law guidelines of the Jobcenter. This has been ruled by the Social Court Berlin:

Kindergarden trips are not encompassed by the law. There is also no entitlement on the basis of the hardship case ruling of the BVerfG as it does not concern a running expense but a once-off requirement.

A loan can not be considered as the amount can be mustered by a regrouping of the already granted benefits. This trip could also have been saved for as it had been planned for more than a year, according to the courts.
